Hi, Matt of etrailer, and today, we're talking about the Flint Hill Goods Steel Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2023 Nissan Rogue. Now, this can be a great option for the Rogue because the Rogue doesn't have a whole lot of space, and it doesn't have a super high tongue weight. So trying to put a lot back here isn't recommended. I really show you what I'm talking about with that space though, is while it is a decent amount, if everyone in your vehicle, if you have all the seats filled up, have luggage with them, plus some additional, then you're probably gonna run outta space. And a situation like this is gonna be great for that. It's also gonna be great if you have anything that is really dirty or has a lot of spillage in it, and you don't want that getting inside your vehicle, this is gonna be a great alternative. more

Why would you need a hitch cargo carrier It has a couple of different uses. For instance, if you're going over a longer road trip and have your car filled up with people and maybe all your luggage doesn't fit into the back end, you're going that additional luggage is gonna have to go somewhere else. So this is a perfect opportunity for that. Now, hitch mounted cargo carrier is a great way to carry some extra stuff with you, whether you're going on a road trip, and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage because there's not enough room inside or you're just taking a quick trip to the hardware store, and you've got some stuff that you never wanna put in the vehicle to begin with. Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt folding 24 by 60 cargo carrier, part number C18153. Our cargo carrier is going to be a great way to free up the inside of our Rogue for passengers and pets and be able to carry all our gear on the back. As you can see, it is going to add quite a bit of real estate to the back of our Rogue, so I'd like to give you a few measurements. From the back of our bumper, it's going to come out right about 40-inches at the very back. Now, the closest point is going to be right about 13 1/2-inches. Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be taking a look at the Reese Explorer 24 by 60 cargo carrier, part number 63153.Our cargo carrier's gonna allow us to carry all of our gear on the back of our Rogue, freeing up space on the inside for passengers and pets. As you can see, it is gonna take up a little bit of space on the back, so I'd like to give you a few measurements.From the back of the bumper, overall, we're gonna be adding right about 33 inches. Now, at the closest, point, it's be roughly right about seven inches at the front of the carrier here. As far as ground clearance is concerned, at the back of our carrier, it's gonna be just over 15 inches off the ground. The inside walls are gonna be about five and a half inches tall. One thing to keep in mind if you are stacking quite a bit of gear up would be the point to where your hatch is gonna come in contact. more

We've got a 300 weight capacity and the supports of both an inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. We're going to start off with a few measurements. First is going to be ground clearance. The bottom of our bolt, we're going to have about thirteen and a half inches. Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're doing a test-fit of the Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier. That part number is M2205. This is designed to work with 2 inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. So the first thing I'm going to do here is take a few measurements, ground clearance being first. WE're going to have about 16 and 3/4 inches. Overall to our vehicle, we are adding about 32 1/4 inches and our closest point that would make contact to our vehicle first is going to be about 4 1/4 inches. On our Rogue, we do have a single driver's side exhaust. It comes straight out and towards the ground, just under there, so we don't have to worry about carrying heat-sensitive materials in a specific spot on our carrier. Now unfortunately, in this position, we won't be able to access our hatch, but if we come to each corner and remove our pins, we can lay each of these sides down, just like so. more

Today in our 2014 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson 23x60 inch cargo carrier, part number CC-100. This cargo carrier has a 500-pound weight capacity, and as I said dimensions of 60 inches by 23 inches. To start off, we'll get a few measurements of how our cargo carrier interacts with our Rogue. The closest distance between the front of our carrier to the back of our Rogue will be about 2 1/2 inches. Then the overall distance that we've added will be about 25 inches. Our ground clearance to the bottom side of this bolt here will be about 10 1/2 inches. It looks like our exhaust exit is on the driver side, and it points downward. more

Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Rouge, we're going to be taking a look at the K2 detailed cargo carrier part number K28CC602. This carrier has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and its dimensions are 20 in x 60 in. I'll get a few dimensions to show you how this interacts with the Rouge. Our closest distance from the back of the Rouge to the front of the carrier should be about 10 1/2 inches. Although, there is a little bit of a bump out in the shank that if you we're to go to far in to your receiver, it might make contact there, that's gonna be about 6 1/2 inches from the back of our receiver. Overall distance that we've added, its going to be about 31 1/2 inches, and the ground clearance is going to be about 12 1/2 inches. The exhaust on our Rouge exits on the driver side, and its a pretty far distance away. Just in case you're carrying anything that is heat-sensitive or perishable, its going to be about 20 inches from the front of our carrier to the tip of the exhaust. Our break-over point for the back hatch, in case you wanted to stack any items on the carrier, is going to be about 30 inches before anything would make contact with that hatch. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. This Let's Go Aero Gear Cage is going to be 48" long, 32" wide, and with its sturdy steel construction it's going to offer a 300 pound weight capacity. It's going to come with that 2" shank for you 2" receivers only as well as 7/8" anti-rattle bolt that's going to help secure it and reduce the sway, rattle, and wobble that you would normally have. Let's start off by getting a few measurements. This is going to be part number HCR222 and your closest distance will be from the back of the bumper to the front side of the rack at about 5 7/8". Overall distance that we've added to the back of the vehicle is going to be about 40" and the ground clearance at the bottom side of about 10 1/4" to the bottom side of the shank. Our exhaust does exit on the driver side and straight back so if you're going to be carrying anything that's going to be heat sensitive you're going to want to know, it's going to be about 13 1/2" before it breaks the plane of your basket. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at and doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista folding cargo carrier. Now we've got it on our 2015 Nissan Rogue. This carrier is going to measure 20" deep by 60" wide, offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is SR9851. Now as you can see, we've got the carrier loaded down with a hundred pounds of gear here. This offers an anti-rattle bolt so unlike a lot of the carriers that are installed or held in place with just a pin and clip, it's going to give us a much more stable, much more controlled ride back here for items. This is a 20 by 60 cargo carrier, been designed for use in 2 inch hitches and it's going to offer a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is SR9849. We've loaded this down with 100 pounds of gear, as you can see, it's nice and stable. There's an anti-rattle bolt that will come with your carrier and it's going to help stabilize our loads as we're heading down the road. Some carriers have them, some carriers don't, but if you need a nice stable ride, this may be a great solution for you. Today on our 2014 Nissan Rogue we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series Solo cargo carrier. It measures 31 by 47. They've designed it for use in 2" hitches and it's going to offer a 400 pound weight capacity. To begin our test fit we'll take the carrier, and it's a good idea to have two people when you load it up. However, I've adopted a strategy of just getting it started into the shank of the hitch there, or getting the shank started in the hitch. Then I'll lift up on the rear and push in at the same time. more
